Non Uniform Days
We have organised two non-uniform days to collect items for our Summer Fair. The first date is Friday 24th May when children can come to school in their own choice of clothes in exchange for items for our jumble stall and teddy stall. The second date is Friday 7th June when we will be collecting sweets and pocket money toys. Thank you for your continued support.
Take a look at our gallery to see photos of our Reception classes enjoying a sunny day at Forest School
Summer Fair Advertising Boards
We have been sponsored by a local estate agent for our Summer fete. If you are able to have an advertising board outside your house please sign up at the school office.
After School Clubs
We have spaces on our Multi-Sports After School Club that runs on a Thursday afternoon from 3.10pm – 4.10pm. If your child would like to take part please sign up at the school office.
Week commencing 20th May we will be eating meals from Menu 2 of the new menus.
After the half term holiday we will begin w/c 3rd June with Menu 1. We will continue with the current menus after the half term. This means you only need to complete an order form if you would like to make any changes. Order forms are available outside the school office or on the dinners page of our website.
Next Thursday 23rd May, Van Cols photographers will be in school to take class photos.
The term dates for the next academic year (2019 - 2020) are now available on our website. You can find them on the Policies and Documents page of our website.
We will soon be preparing 2019 reports. Parents who are no longer living at the same address as their children are entitled to receive copies of their children's report. If there has been any change to your family circumstances that we may be unaware of please inform the office staff.
We appear to have been hit by a sickness bug this week. If your child should have sickness or diarrhoea please ensure they stay off school for 48 hours from the last time they were ill.
We have been told that some of our children are viewing inappropriate content on You Tube at home. Please monitor your child's online activities carefully. Parental controls are now available on YouTube if you scroll down to the bottom of the home page.
Half term and Non-Pupil Day
School will be closed from Monday 27th May to Friday 31st May for the half term holiday. Monday 3rd June is a non-pupil day. School will be closed on this day. Children return to school on Tuesday 4th June.

Congratulations to Anna Barakat-Booty from class 5BE at the Junior school and Robyn Jenkins from class RI at the Infant school. Their designs won our poster competition. Their prizes will be given out in assembly and soon their designs will be appearing on posters throughout the local area – Well done!
We are looking for people to display fete advertising boards outside their houses, this year sponsored by Michaels Property Consultants. If you would be willing to have a board outside your house, please leave your name and address at either the Infants or Juniors offices.
We want to make our fete a really festive summer event. Can you donate any bunting or other decorations? Please leave details at either of the school offices.
Also, we are still looking for on the day volunteers, we only need a short amount of your time and it will make a huge difference to the success of the event and help us raise much needed funds for the school.
Lastly, do you run a local business? Could you donate a prize for our raffle?
Thanks in advance for your support!
