We have had a busy few weeks at school with activities including our Book at Bedtime event, an African Drumming workshop and our Great Fire of London day. Please keep a look out for photos in our gallery soon.
Year 2 – Great Fire of London Day
Thank you to all the parents and carers who came to school on Thursday to help with our Great Fire of London day. We have some fantastic houses all around our school.
Week commencing 25th March we will be eating meals from Menu 2. On the last week of term (week commencing 1st April) we will eating a special menu. Everyday there will be a chance for a child from each year to win a cream egg. Please see the menu on our Dinners Page. If your child had a meal already booked for these days you do not need to do anything but if you would like to make some changes please fill in the attached order form or collect a paper copy from outside the school office.
When we return to school after the Easter holiday we will have new menus. These will be emailed to everyone and a paper copy will be sent home on Monday. We need your child's meal order returned to us by the end of the school day on Wednesday 27th March. If your child is having a jacket potato or a wrap please let us know what filling or topping they would like.
This week we have sent home a sheet of raffle tickets with every child. If you would like to buy any of the tickets please cut out the tickets you would like to buy, put your child's name and class on the back and put them in an envelope with your payment. There is a box outside the school office to post your tickets.
The raffle will be drawn in our last assembly of the term. On the last day of term (Friday 5th April) we are holding a "Mad Hair" day in school. Children can come to school with 'Mad Hair' in exchange for a small donation. There will be a prize for the most inventive hair. Children should wear school uniform on this day.

We have some exciting news about our school summer fete. This year the Infant and Junior School will host a joint event on Saturday 22nd June from 11am to 3pm. We would love the whole school and local community to get involved and will be sharing further information with you over the next few weeks. The first piece of news is the launch of our "Design our Summer Fete Poster" competition. The competition is open to children in all years. The winners will feature on all our promotional material for the fete. Your child will be bringing home a black and white copy of the poster format with a blank space for their design. Please submit all entries to the school office by Friday 15th March. Please don't forget to put your child's name and year group on the back. There's a colour version of the poster format in each school reception.
We want to make this year's fete a fantastic event for all so there are a few things we would love your help with:
